Clay Transfer Sheet – Charm Maker Size

Create your own faux ceramic style charms with polymer clay and these transfer designs. Designed by me, many starting with my own art work that was hand sketched, or painted. These are unique designs, you will not find anywhere else!
How to Use:

Condition and roll out your clay slab on a tile or work surface. I prefer to cut and clean up my charm shapes prior to transferring the images.

Pre-cut your transfer sheet to reduce waste (and save the leftovers for another project!).

Place the sheet bright color side down onto your clay and use a roller or brayer your fingers to rub and press firmly into place.

Rinse gently under a soft stream of water until the paper backing dissolves. Use your fingertip to lightly rub away any residue. There are many ways to do this part of the transfer. I prefer to spray with water, let sit for a minute or two, and then run under a very gentle running water from the faucet. Some of the more delicate designs can be tricker to transfer, but we will include test pieces in each order for you to test out before you use your whole sheet.

Allow charms to dry, then bake according to your clay brand’s instructions.

Transfers show up best on light-colored clay, especially white. Premo is my preffered brand, and works better than any others I have tried for transfers.

If a little paper remains after drying, simply re-rinse before baking.

Sealing —our transfers are durable after baking, but you can add resin or DuraClear Varnish for extra protection and shine. I personally would not leave them un sealed, even though many people claim they are fine to be unsealed. My prefered sealer is Dura Clear.

Photo images represent colors as closely as possible, but shades may vary depending on your device, clay brand, or base color. Slight dulling after baking is normal.
- I like to finish my charms by drilling a hole for an eye pin, to add the loop.
