WHAT YOU RECEIVE

HOW TO USE

  1. Condition and roll out your polymer clay slab on a tile or work surface.
  2. Cut and clean up your charm shapes if desired before transferring the artwork.
  3. Pre-cut the transfer sheet to reduce waste.
  4. Place the sheet bright color side down onto the clay.
  5. Use a roller, brayer, or your fingers to firmly rub and press the transfer into place.
  6. Rinse gently with water until the paper backing dissolves. Lightly rub away any remaining residue with your fingertip.
  7. Allow the transferred design to dry.
  8. Bake according to your clay manufacturer's instructions.

Transfer tip: For more delicate designs, take your time during the water-removal step. The maker recommends spraying the transfer with water, allowing it to sit for a minute or two, and then using very gentle running water.

PRO TIPS

  • Transfers show up best on light-colored clay, especially white.
  • If paper residue remains after drying, rinse the piece again before baking.
  • After baking, the transfers are described as durable. Additional sealing with resin or DuraClear Varnish can be used for extra protection and shine.
  • The maker's preferred sealer is DuraClear.
  • After finishing your charm, you can drill a hole for an eye pin to create a loop.
